Legion to my solitary confinement

before i make my point, here’s the synopsis of legion from IMDB:

When God loses faith in Mankind, he sends his legion of angels to bring on the Apocalypse. Humanity's only hope lies in a group of strangers trapped in a desert diner and the Archangel Michael.

so, haha, i was right! ok, here’s the story…

obviously, i watched legion w/ my family a few hours ago. after the movie, discussion part obviously took place. however, it got to the point whereby my dad and i were already arguing about what really had happened. but i knew better, i don’t want to screw up the apparently good day we had so i kept my mouth shut. and this time, i guess i made the right choice. basically, what am i trying to say is that arguments similar to this happened already before, that my dad and i would have some misunderstandings about certain topics, or we would have opposing principles on something that it would then lead to us arguing and him shouting at me and pointing out that he knew everything (cause he’s older, basically) and that i don’t have the right to argue because i know nothing. so this time, i kept my mouth shut.

cut it short, my version of the story was exactly what the synopsis had said. his version was this:

all angels are attempting a coup that would eventually lead to the destruction of the entire mankind. and how would they do it? kill the baby. God sent michael to protect the baby from the legion of angels and preserve the entire mankind as a result.

so upto now, he still believes that he was right and i was wrong. i hope he considers looking at the legion synopsis in order for him to realize what really happened.

anyway, that’s it for today.. it may seem like i was dissing my dad in this post.. i was. my deepest apologies. but i just have to make my point this time, cause i was right. and i can’t definitely argue back so i’m arguing back here.
